Indian nationals travelling to Thailand can apply for a visa on arrival in any international airport without getting one in advance. Note: For visas on arrival, your stay in Thailand cannot exceed 15 days.
Depending on passenger traffic, the process will take anywhere between 10 minutes to an hour. If you would like to avoid long queues and reach the counter faster, you can choose a fast track for an extra 200THB.
Before you travel to Thailand please carry the following documents:
— A passport valid for at least 6 months following the date of your arrival to Thailand;
— Airline boarding pass;
— One photograph of 4 x 6 centimetres headshot (photograph can be taken in the airport but you will need to pay extra 200 THB);
— A completed visa application form (you can get it at any immigration checkpoint);
— Airline ticket with the date of your departure from Thailand within 15 days of the date of arrival to the country (immigration will ask you to book a flight out of Thailand at the gate if you don’t have one);
— A completed Arrival-Departure card, which you can DOWNLOAD HERE or get from the airline staff before landing in Thailand;
— Non-refundable visa on arrival application fee of 2,000 Baht;
— Hotel booking confirmation (we will provide you with this document once your booking is confirmed).
If you wish to stay longer than 15 days, your visa needs to be obtained in advance. The process is handled by VFS global. The list of documents and details of the process are available at the VFS website: VFS THAILAND
